Thanks for the welcome-message and also for your idea with this page. I was following your wiki almost since its beginnings and with the creation of its 100th page, I thought, this might be the time for me to register here as well. This might also give me more possibilities when writing/editing an article, as some functions seemed to be limited to "registered users only".

I'm looking forward to learning the ideas you have and hope that this will make it easier for me to contribute/edit articles (lately, I was confused when you created the "Stable Lancer Line" although I've already created the "Lancer Line" a few months ago).

Please pay attention to the units' names. The problem is that, once an article is created, the headline cannot be edited anymore. EDIT: Ok, I found out how to move a wrong page to a new one, but the page will still exist, though.

The last example we had was the Wapentuer (not "Wapuenter"). I understand that you aren't used to the language of most of these names (German/Dutch terms) but then you should even more check the spelling. :-)

Is it possible to delete these two pages: Wapuenter and Skirmishers ? Their titles were accidentally wrong and could not be chaged.

Thank you.

That's ok. You're welcome. :)

Can you tell me how to "get rid of" such "redundant" pages?

Any user can remove content from a page, but only admins can delete pages completely. This is often done in cases of spam and vandalism, but also to remove unwanted pages from the wiki.

What I did now was adding a "redirection" from both pages to the new page. If you don't mind, i'll do the same with the "Stable Lancer Line" page to the "Lancer Line" page.

Herzog de Puce 18:31, October 23, 2010 (UTC)

I will. Thank you very much.

Herzog de Puce 21:38, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Perhaps, you could make a decision about the categories "Lines" and "Unit lines". Since you've also added "unit groups", I think it makes sense if you'll move the Article of the category-page "Lines" to "Unit Lines".

P.S. I'm honoured. :-) It's nothing special that I'm doing. I was always wondering why hardly anyone else contributed to this wiki...

Herzog de Puce 03:51, November 10, 2010 (UTC)

Ok done. :-)

Due to the current lack of internet, I don't have much time to edit pages (using the internet at the local library) so I won't be able to contribute much to the wiki.

Herzog de Puce 17:17, November 13, 2010 (UTC)

I've edited your saethwr-strategy altering the things that will be changed by Kor with the next patch.

Also, I'm usually using my internet at home which also makes it easier to check certain unit stats or to create "historical-background-texts" that I like to add to the unique units. And at home I will also have more time to, perhaps, write more articles. :-) Internet will probably be on again on Monday.

It seems as if we have almost finished all land units - only missing standard Crossbows, mounted archers and Skirmishers (after that, it's only siege and ships to complete all units). Maybe I will also create/complete some of the missing civilisation-pages soon.

Herzog de Puce 19:50, November 13, 2010 (UTC)

I've already added a new "ship line" for Friesland - the "War Cog" as this will be a new unit for all civs. Maybe we could wait with the ships until 1.72 and finish Siege Units first, as there will be some other changes for Friesland as well. (e.g. they will also get Longships now).

You're Welcome.

Ok, we have to move some pages/units to new pages due to name-changes. :D

The Herwr/Hewr Mawr probably need a new "background"-description as well...

Herzog de Puce 13:24, November 22, 2010 (UTC)

I'm well-aware of the update. Just because I'm not registered on heavengames, it doesn't mean I don't know. ;-)

And I've already updated the Herwr, Oerfaller and their civs today. If you concentrate on the ships now, then I gonna finish the Mounted Archery.

Herzog de Puce 23:48, November 22, 2010 (UTC)

Hmm...the category "units" has the subcategories "archers", "infantry" and "cavalry" without subcategories. Perhaps you could add them sometime: e.g. "Crossbowmen, Bowmen, Skirmishers" as subcategories to archers etc...

I say "sometimes" because we already have them as individual pages. With the categorisation it might perhaps become easier to get to them later on.

Herzog de Puce 15:38, December 2, 2010 (UTC)

Just some Screenshots I made of the units in "preset" terrain and of their stats/icons. Might look nice with some pics. You could continue with the naval units if you like. I might finish the other civilisations as soon as I either got all the info. Do you want me to do/complete anything special?

Herzog de Puce 20:27, December 11, 2010 (UTC)

Well, the History part is just copy & paste. I know what files there are for chivalry :-P

You could continue creating the (war)ship pages.

The Bajoras is not meant to be a "Militia Lancer" only because it looks like one - it also doesn't have the same bonuses (the Order Auxiliary was adjusted to be similar). Still, the ML graphics imo nicely show the lighter armour the Bajorai used - in comparison to the "heavier" lancers at the stable - similar to the Szlachta, afaik. I deleted your added info.

Herzog de Puce 02:46, December 16, 2010 (UTC)

General things[]

Do you want to finish some of the last civ-pages or shall I do all of them?

So far, I intended to make some more "mini-screenshots" for all unique units (like I did for the Tarasnice, Halbbruder, Flemish Infantry...etc pages) most of all because of their new graphics. Most other units are already known from AoK. If there are certain units/buildings you want me to do or for which you want to have pictures as well, tell me.

Btw.: how do you want the "Siege Cannon" page to be made? All gunners have the same stats and only vary in costs - depending on whether they are "Mercenary Gunners"(250 florins) or "Domestic Artillery"(200 wood, 100 florins). Shall I add the stats to the "Mercenary Gunner" and "Domestic Artillery" pages?

Herzog de Puce 04:26, January 26, 2011 (UTC) ___________________________________________________________________________________________

Whatever you wanted to change, you messed up the "Florentine Gunner" page. :-)

Herzog de Puce 22:59, January 26, 2011 (UTC)

One thing I noticed with Poland:

When you have German terms, better copy/paste them rather than trying to write them out of your memory: Ostsiedlung = "Eastern Settlement".

Herzog de Puce 00:17, January 27, 2011 (UTC)

A contributor wants to add additional info to the civ-pages (e.g. section: unique units). I think, such additional info has already been added to the unit pages themselves and if not, it should be added there.

An example of what he did - you can check everything in the "wikia activity" section, anyway.

Unique Unit: Gefolgsmann. With Romzug, you receive the Reichsritter upgrade at 14th century. It costs 1100 food and 675 florins.

You are the "head" of this wiki, so I ask you what you prefer or what plans you actually had.

Herzog de Puce 13:41, January 27, 2011 (UTC)

I thought, you wanted to do all siege units? :-)

Herzog de Puce 14:43, February 23, 2011 (UTC)

VegaDark blocked me[]

I was blocked by VegaDark.

  • Reason given: spam
    * Start of block: 15:06, 2011 January 27
    * Expiry of block: 15:06, 2011 July 27
    * Intended blockee: Herzog de Puce

I just edited some unit pages (copy-paste) and this was considered to be spam. Can you do something about the block? EDIT: The problem seems to be solved now after I talked to VegaDark.

Herzog de Puce 15:55, January 27, 2011 (UTC)

Helping out[]

No problem. He's already been doing that since he started with the Castle-pages. The speed at which he's doing it is remarkable (reminds me of my early times when i was doing unit-page after unit page. :D)
I will revise them and add some "content" to it where necessary, as I used to do with your pages. :)

It's better if you add the technology-stats as you might have better access to them. I'd have to look them all up ingame to get their costs. :-)

Could you rename the Group-page "Trade Units" to "Trade"? This would make more sense since you added the Market and Caravan as well. Later we can then add the policy decisions which would affect trade, as well.

That comment wasn't done by me (at least I don't remember writing it. It was made by you. :D

I usually do, if I remember it. I, though, didn't do it in the past, so there might have been quite a few uncategorised peages.

Policy Decisions that still lack "historical background":

Baltic Crusades (Guelders and Denmark)

Nobility, Combined Arms (both England)

Chamber of the Council (Flanders)

Papal Protector, Communes (both France)

These are the ones for which I found it quite difficult to get adequate background information.

Herzog de Puce 04:22, March 20, 2011 (UTC)

No problem. I can help you out there, if I find the time. Would you also continue with the technology pages?

Thanks for the compliment. You also did good work there. I mostly only added to the comments you already wrote.

Herzog de Puce 00:38, July 12, 2011 (UTC)

Very nice comments indeed. I almost thought it was Kor himself commenting. :-)

Nothing to say - good additions.

Herzog de Puce 16:25, September 27, 2011 (UTC)

I found a bug on bohemian civ,in scenario editor when i play with bohemia in 14th century,It doesn't appear "14th century" but appears 13th century,The policy decisions don't appear;and when I play in 15th century When I reserarch Luxembourg Dynasty don't unlock Ius Teutonicum,but unlocks Shinkichon(old Korean Unique Techology),It's a problem in my game or it's a bug? Tofcaveira1977 16:20, February 20, 2011 (UTC)

Minor Nobility[]

Do NOT confuse "Minor Nobility"(+5 for Troopers/Teulu) with "Chivalric Order" (+3 attack => all cavalry).

Herzog de Puce 19:56, February 24, 2011 (UTC)

I'm Busy[]

if you need my help on a page, leave a message on my page, I am too busy these days and do not have much time to edit pages of this wiki

Tofcaveira1977 14:59, March 9, 2011 (UTC)

Busy in what way? I haven't yet seen many new changes that need a drastical change to the wiki. :) What I might be adding next will be unique technologies - I, though, can't promise that it'll be done this weekend. If you definitely got the time - even better. :)

The techtrees are already altered. I'm only waiting for the 1.73 patch until I'll release them in case Kor made some additional changes I yet don't know anything about.

Herzog de Puce 00:39, April 27, 2011 (UTC)

Do you currently have time to continue work on the wiki? It seems to be getting "deserted" again. :-)

Herzog de Puce 05:35, June 10, 2011 (UTC)

Would you like to continue with the technologies?

Herzog de Puce 01:25, August 15, 2011 (UTC)

"be careful late-game when playing the Poles!"

Why should a player be careful with a unit that has increased armour, only -1 attack than before and moves way faster than any other heavy cavalry in the game? :D

By the way: you can add the following bugs to the info: "Liv Aux. blocked by Surgery" and "Close Order Drill" available without limitation

Herzog de Puce 13:28, July 30, 2011 (UTC)

@Livgarde: you cannot compare it to the Halberd Militia. Not only in stats and boni (apart from a small anti-infantry bonus) but mostly because of attack speed, the Halberd can't be used in the same way as you would use the Livgarde - therefore: no competition.

@Arras: no more fast production.

Also, I would be careful with judgement. I recommend you to play some games in multiplayer before doing so - things can vary a lot to what you sometimes advise. And most often there is more than only one solution. That's why I delete parts of your commentaries that I find inappropriate.

Herzog de Puce 22:22, August 15, 2011 (UTC)

Irrelevant article[]

Could you please delete the article on "Arching Tips". It doesn't belong on the wiki (as it refers to the Half Life Mod "Age of Chivalry" and not Hegemony).

Herzog de Puce 03:42, November 22, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for the promotion. :)

Yeah, I think that should be all then. Good to see you "back at work".

Herzog de Puce 00:39, June 20, 2012 (UTC)

Hey, unless there is an update to the chivalry-map, could you add to the description that Brandenburg isn't shown yet?

Herzog de Puce (talk) 11:40, April 23, 2014 (UTC)

The Latest Updates[]

Are you going to mention the latest update to the game?

Any idea where the new map is that shows all the the factions? Including the Papal State?

--Warhead77777 (talk) 16:55, February 20, 2016 (UTC)

The map is right here.

I hope jordan finds time to update the "version info". I am currently busy with a different project, so I am only checking the wiki on article updates to see if I need to correct something. Warhead77777, you are more than welcome to add new articles if you want to. ;)
