Apparently tired of simply throwing wood and stone on the ground and hammering away, some university engineers created the treadmill crane. Like all technologies except Alchemy, there are no accompanying graphic effects, nor does the crane provide a good form of exercise. (Play on the word "treadmill".) Rather, it increases the speed at which peasants construct buildings by 20%. And they still have to throw wood and/or stone on the ground and hammer away.
