The Caravel (for Friesland and Saxony the Likedeler, for Brandenburg the Kraweel) is the upgrade of the Carrack, a long-ranged, cannon-equipped warship. Only a few civilizations can upgrade it. It carries a longer range, better attack, and is more durable than the Carrack. English Caravels use a different projectile, which travels faster, thus giving a greater degree of accuracy.
