Age of Chivalry: Hegemony is a fan-based mod pack of the popular RTS game Age of Empires II: The Conquerors Expansion (Microsoft/Ensemble Studios, 1999). Hegemony changes several different features of the game, including gameplay, units, graphics, and music. It mainly focuses on European nations, whereas the parent game covers civilizations from all over the world. The object of Hegemony is the same as in the parent game: start with a few peasants, a scout unit, and a building called a Town Hall, build up your economy and then your military to conquer the enemy. However, this can be achieved quite differently and perhaps in a more challenging way as the player might be used to.
